I really enjoyed this helpful book. Doreen Virtue explains the Chakras and the need to clear them. She has meditations in the pages and on CD. The step by step in using different methods - meditation, visualization, angel therapy, and other sources (massage, aromatherapy).
The negative can cling to you, it can become gunk on your spirit - your spirit can take on this and make you depressed to ill. It is essential to take care of yourself, mind, body, and soul.
